Meet Mel…

Mel is a CFO and brings a combination of strategic planning, financial acumen, and operational skills honed through more than 20 years of experience as a CFO and COO to Blockchain, professional service and tech related businesses, all in service of helping them deliver profitable growth. Mel manages our budget and assists with strategic planning. 

Mel earned her CPA while at EY, a Big 4 global accounting firm and moved to privately held entrepreneurial companies where she knew she’d have a greater impact. Mel holds a CPA license from the State of NY, an Accounting for Blockchain certification from the AICPA, and has a B.B.A. from Pace University.  

For fun, Mel loves a good DIY project, especially if it involves a power tool and is equally happy that her landscape architect wife loves to garden at their home because she doesn’t. She’s a prolific podcast listener and admits she’s yet to find the one that explains why her dogs like longer walks when it’s below freezing than in the warm summer months.
